Writer - Andy Platt; Andy has spent the last thirteen years working in Education, specialising in Music and Drama. As a Headteacher, he has written and produced many shows in a range of theatres and other venues, including the Royal Armouries and Leeds Town Hall.
His works in schools and the community have been widely recognised, being featured extensively in national and regional press, including the Times Educational Supplement. He wrote the book, lyrics and score of No Horizon.
This latest creation started life as a new community musical, funded by over £20,000 from the Arts Council,. It’s overwhelming success was such that Andy subsequently re-wrote it and presented it in the professional theatre. This time it starred Olivier award winning actor James Lomas and resulted in widespread acclaim, standing ovations and repeated full houses.
Producer – Max Reid; Max is a true entrepreneur. A qualified accountant himself, he left private practice some 15 years ago to set up what turned into a hugely successful Leasing Company. Two years ago, Max incorporated the music recording and publishing company, Beat Crazy. Despite being in its infancy, Beat Crazy has already enjoyed considerable chart success. With Andy he has set up Vibe Theatre to further his passion for the Performing Arts.
